This fall, the Town of Fort Frances will present the 30th 'Citizen of the Year' award. The award will be presented to a resident of the Town of Fort Frances who has made a positive contribution toward the well being of our community and its citizens.

Take notice that Council passed amendments to the Official Plan and Zoning By-law (related to 605 McIrivine Road) at its regular meeting September 11, 2017.
Fort Frances citizens are invited to present their suggestions and comments to Council on what they believe are municipal services / projects to be included in the 2018 Budget. Public meeting is scheduled for Monday September 25, 2017. Please contact the Clerk's office to make a presentation (either in person or written) by 12noon on Thursday September 21.
Please be advised that Front Street (between Minnie Avenue and Butler Avenue) will be closed from 8:00 am on July 14, 2017 to 4:00pm on July 24, 2017 in order to accommodate the Fort Frances Canadian Bass Championship.
Large trucks are to utilize Scott Street as the alternate truck route. Signs will be posted at each end of Scott Street.
Please be advised that Front Street (between Minnie Avenue and Scott Street) will be closed on Thursday July 20th, 2017 from 8:00am to 5:00pm in order to accommodate the 'Sorting Gap Marina Show and Shine' being organized by the International Early Iron Car Club with special guests travelling as part of the Canadian Coasters 50th Anniversary Tour.
