On January 12, 2024 Perimeter Aviation, owners of Bearskin Airlines, announced their intentions to discontinue domestic aviation services in Fort Frances effective May 11th, 2024.
The reopening of Memorial ports Centre pool, originally scheduled for March/April, has been delayed due to unforeseen challenges during the renovation process including advanced structural deterioration and unexpected plumbing interferences with the pool skimmer and jet water lines.
