The Town of Fort Frances is looking for a construction firm to complete a sidewalk extension along Nelson Street from Victoria Avenue to the Municipal Parking Lot. The sidewalk will traverse along the south side of the roadway connecting into the existing sidewalk at the intersection of Nelson Street and Victoria Avenue and terminating approximately 54m westerly at the municipal parking lot with a new drop curb and tactile plate.
WHEREAS, the July 30th World Day Against Trafficking in Persons was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly on December 18, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Fort Frances would like to raise awareness and educate its citizens about this harmful modern-day slavery which is taking place in every part of the world, and even in our town and communities; and
The Town of Fort Frances is looking for a construction firm to complete foundation repairs and dampproofing of the basement walls at the East End Hall at 1227 Fifth Street East in Fort Frances. The east end hall is an approximately 1800 square-foot community hall constructed in 1965 on top of a concrete block basement. The basement has an existing sump hole however we do not expect that there is perimeter drainage connected to it.
