Notice of Public Meeting

TAKE NOTICE that Council will hold a Public Meeting on Monday January 11, 2021 for the purposes of providing information to the public on proposed amendments to the Official Plan and Zoning By-law relative to applications received from Tom Veert Contracting Ltd.

An application to amend the Official Plan (File C2-2020) from Tom Veert Contracting Ltd. for 1150 Portage Avenue requests changing the designation from a Living Area to an Employment Area. Additionally, the Town has received an application to amend the Zoning By-law (File B5-2020) from Tom Veert Contracting Ltd. for 1150 Portage Avenue to change the land use zoning from Open Space to Local Commercial with a site specific accessory permitted use as a boarding house which will permit an office facility with accessory housing for out of town employees.
