Notice of Public Meeting (Zoning & Official Plan Amendment)
TAKE NOTICE that Council will hold a Public Meeting on Monday September 23rd, 2019 for the purposes of providing information to the public on proposed amendments to the Official Plan and Zoning By-law relative to Second Units / Accessory Dwelling Units.
Amendments to the Official Plan and the Zoning By-law will permit a second residential unit to be located within an accessory building (i.e. garage) located on the same lot as the primary residential unit. Restrictions will be imposed respecting second unit maximum size. All other requirements related to second units within the Official Plan and Zoning By-law will remain in place and effect (i.e. parking, sewer and water).
