Citizens are invited to virtually attend the Council meeting on Monday November 23, 2020.

Reopening Memorial Sports Centre - Youth Hockey Season

Please be advised that U9 and younger participants are allowed to have one parent/guardian attend the Memorial Sports Centre and stay to watch the ice time

  • Please practice social distancing while at the facility
  • Mask use is mandatory while attending the facility
  • Ensure you are entering via the appropriate entrance and NOT the Main Memorial Sports Centre Doors

TAKE NOTICE that Council will hold a Public Meeting on Monday September 14, 2020 for the purposes of providing information to the public on an application to remove the holding provision ‘H’ received from Ryan Lundy (Authorized Agent).

An application has been submitted to remove the holding provision ‘H’ (File B3-2020) from Ryan Lundy (Authorized Agent) for a property on the south side of Eighth Street East bound by Mill Road to the east, Williams Avenue to the west and the CN Railway to the south.

TAKE NOTICE that Council will hold a Public Meeting on Monday September 28, 2020 for the purposes of providing information to the public on proposed amendments to the Zoning By-law relative to an application received from Ian McKay (RefleXion Studio).

An application has been submitted to amend Zoning By-law #03/14 (File B4-2020) from Ian McKay (RefleXion Studio) for 840 Sixth Street West requesting to add a site-specific permitted use of a recreation or fitness establishment.

Notice - Special Committee of the Whole and Council Meeting

A special meeting of Committee of the Whole of Council is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday July 29, 2020 which will be held virtually with a link/call in number for the public to be posted on the Town website.

At this meeting Council will receive a financial update (as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic), re-opening plans will be provided and a construction request from the Operations & Facilities division will be considered.
