Notice is hereby given that the following Special Meetings of Council has been called in accordance with the Procedural By-Law and the Municipal Act to be held in the Council Chambers, located at 320 Portage Ave Fort Frances, ON and or (Virtual)
The purpose of the Meeting is for Members of Council and Senior Staff to participate in a Strategic Planning session to guide the work of the municipality for the next four years.
Council will soon be working to create a new Strategic Plan, a design of the key initiatives and actions that will shape the future of the Town of Fort Frances.
Input from Fort Frances residents is essential if the Strategic Plan is going to reflect the priorities and issues of the community.
We invite residents to a special public comment session for the Strategic Plan on:

TAKE NOTICE THAT The Town of Fort Frances Council at its Regular Council Meeting of August 14, 2023 approved the 2024 Budget Schedule.
The annual budget process includes community consultation at the beginning of the process before the development of the draft budget, and before the draft budget goes to Council for its deliberations and before Council considers final approval of the draft budget.

National Peacekeeper's Day is recognized on Wednesday, August 9 to honour and remember all Canadian peacekeepers who have served or are currently serving in support of peace operations around the world.
The flags have been lowered on the Flag Poles at the Civic Centre as a symbol of mourning and to show our deepest respect.
