Please be advised that Front Street (between Minnie & Butler) will be closed on Saturday July 8, 2017 from 7:30am to 5:30pm to accommodate the Boundary Waters Dragon Boat Festival. Large trucks are to utilize Scott Street as the alternate route through town. More information related to the Dragon Boat Festival can be obtain at http://www.boundarywatersdragonboat.com/.
Notice of Temporary Road Closure
Please be advised that the Canada Day Parade is scheduled for Saturday July 1, 2017 to begin at 11:00am at the Sorting Gap Marina moving west along Front Street, north onto Armit Avenue, west onto Church Street, ending at the Fort Frances Legion. It is expected to affect traffic on the previously mentioned roads for approximately one hour. Notice of Road Closure
Please be advised that the 100, 200 and 300 blocks of Scott Street will be closed on Thursday June 29, 2017 (rain day June 30) in order to facilitate "Mall Day" as organized by the Downtown BIA.
Large trucks are to utilize the Front Street truck route. Signs will be posted at each end of Scott Street.

A special meeting of Committee of the Whole of Council is scheduled for 4:00pm on Monday April 17th, 2017 in the Committee Room at the Civic Centre.

Public Notice - Open Air Burning
Town of Fort Frances Chief Fire Offiical has prohibited the burning of all brush & wood piles, fields, leaves and grass, within the Town of Fort Frances, from April 1 to October 31, 2017, which is official fire season.
